Positive Association With Students is a youth program designed to help at-risk students in our alternative schools. These students are paired with assistance dogs in training. They help train these amazing canines to perform special tasks, and in the process the students learn valuable life skills such as, dependability, patience, positive motivation, consistency, anger management and leadership.
This program can be life changing. Students who have participated have reported a new found confidence, accountability, and a desire to come to school. Kids and dogs working together, truely a win-win situation.
